It's great to be back! They're very consistent with the quality of their products, especially their chicken popcorn(one of the best). Great and clean ambiance, excellent and welcoming staff. Will definitely keep coming back.

Long line! I suggest to order ahead through Yelp for pick-up. But if not, it's totally worth falling in line for! It's so good and I wish we ordered more than one bubble waffle because it's THE best one we've ever had!

I was craving a warm and cold dessert at night and stumbled upon this spot! Loved it! I'm sure the warm waffle or egg puff by itself is a good choice too! The ice creams are flavorful too. They are open till 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Orders do take sometime. And it's a small shop, with limited seating. Lots of people come here, it's always full, and busy!

Hands down my favorite spot for popcorn chicken and takoyaki! So much flavor and the popcorn chicken comes with deep fried basil. Everything is packaged so nicely and have bought this for a few friends and this has also become their new spot. Noticed the octopus portions has gotten a lot smaller in the takoyaki but overall just seems like the times we are currently living in. Hopefully is not permanent. Overall, still the best spot I've found. Been coming here for maybe 5-6 years now and always try to find something closer but nowhere can compare.

Decided to try this out after dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of their desserts. They have everything from boba, sago, fruit desserts, waffles, ice cream and much more! They also have popcorn chicken and other savory snacks. Hubby and I tried the mochi waffle with ice cream.. and it did not disappoint. It was sooo good and definitely satisfied our cravings. The place is a bit small with a few tables. Plenty of machines to order from, I counted 3. We will come back to try the rest of the desserts here. So far, it's probably a dessert spot I'd come back to when we're in the area.

GET THE FRIED MOCHI BALLS!!! wow... it's like a perfect blend of a mochi and disneyland beignet, in fact i prefer it over the disney beignets which is saying a lot. it's a bit on the oily end but i didn't mind, and i could probably eat all 5 in one sitting. it's located in a cute downtown area in san mateo, so worth trying if ur in area!

It was nice that there were a few kiosks you could order from. It was more convenient and efficient, and allowed the staff to just focus on fulfilling the orders. 4.5/5 Fried Mochi Balls: I definitely came here just to try this, and it was very delicious! I liked the crispy exterior, and the soft, chewy interior. The powdered sugar made it a whole lot better. I dipped it into my ice cream, and that was gold. 3/5 Snowflake Cup with Ice Cream: This was essentially just sweet shaved ice with ice cream and your choice of toppings. It was good, but I thought it was overpriced for what it was. 4/5 Mango Yogurt Smoothie: I love anything mango, especially mango sago, and this did not disappoint. I recommend mixing up the drink really well first, unless you like the flavor separations.

First time and enjoyed our order . Their egg waffles were exceptional. My mango sago was so so . The black Thai rice was good . Tight space so don't expect to sit for long period when they are busy .

Sweet Moment doesn't stand out much compared to other boba shops, but it does satisfy boba cravings. There is plenty of indoor seating, and service was quick--perhaps because I went later in the evening when it wasn't very busy. They offer more than just boba, with options like smoothies, coffee, desserts such as sago and ice cream, and snacks like popcorn chicken and egg puffs. I believe I ordered the Lychee Royal Black Tea, which I found very refreshing. I added lychee jelly as a topping, which I thoroughly enjoyed. While Sweet Moment may not be particularly unique, they make their boba delicious enough to earn a good rating from me.

The red bean matcha smoothie is hands down one of my go-to drinks! If you're a fan of red bean and matcha, this drink is perfection in a cup. It's already perfectly sweet, but I like mine extra sweet for that indulgent treat. The service here is always on point--you're greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in, which adds to the welcoming vibe. Pro Tip: Order ahead on DoorDash to save time--it's a total game changer!
